Citing Government Publications
Government publications can be among the most complicated sources to cite accurately. They may come from federal, state or local agencies. They may be pamphlets, handbooks, transcripts or technical reports. Frequently they are numbered publications in series. Nearly all government publications are published by entities that are part of a bureaucratic hierarchy and should be documented in a meaningful order.
