    Citing book chapters

    When using the MLA citation style to cite chapters in books, include the following information:

    • author(s) of book chapter
    • full title of chapter
    • full title of entire book
    • editors or authors of entire book
    • place of publication
    • publisher
    • page numbers in which the chapter appeared
    Example:
    Dubow, Eric F., and Laurie S. Miller.  "Television
               Violence Viewing and Aggressive Behavior."
               Tuning in to Young Viewers:  Social Science
               Perspectives on Television. Ed. T.M. MacBeth.
               Thousand Oaks, CA:  Sage, 1996. 117-147.
