    Citing journal and magazine articles

    Citations for periodicals using the Turabian style should include:

    • author(s) of article
    • title of article
    • title of periodical (in italics)
    • volume or issue number (or both)
    • publication date
    • page number(s)

    Examples:

    Journal Article

      Mylod, Deirdre E., Thomas L. Whitman, and John G. Borkowski.
        "Predicting Adolescent Mother's Transition to Adulthood," Journal of Research on Adolescence 7 (1997): 457-78.

    Magazine Article

      Keil, Kristi Lockhart. "An Intimate Profile of Generation X."
        American Enterprise, a National Magazine of Politics, Business, and Culture, January/February 1998, 49.
