    Citing electronic journal articles

    When citing articles from electronic journals be sure to include the following information about the article:

    • author(s)
    • year
    • full title of the article (include subtitle if present)
    • title of the electronic journal
    • volume and issue numbers of the journal
    • page numbers
    • date when the researcher retreived or accessed the source
    • name of any company, institution, or organization sponsoring or associated with the web site
    • electronic address, or URL, of the source or, for a subscription service, the URL of the service's main page (if known) or the


    Example:.

    Correia, J. P. (1999). Tooth loss rate from two captive sandtiger 

      sharks. Zoo Biology, 18(4), 313-317. Retrieved January 25,

      1999, from http://www3.interscience.wiley.com
