    Citing theses and dissertations

    When using the APA style to cite theses and dissertations, include the following information:

    • author
    • full title (include subtitle if present)
    • year of publication
    • academic institution


    Example:

    Matson, D. M. (1997). Accountability, task structure, and evidence

      evaluations in an audit review process. Unpublished

      doctoral thesis, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
