    Citing books

    When using the MLA style to cite books, include the following information:

    • author(s)
    • title (include subtitle if present)
    • place of publication
    • publisher
    • year of publication
    Example:
    Please note: the title of the book is underlined. If you are viewing this 
      with Netscape 2.0, the underline will not display.
