Write Your Bibliography with Refworks: Advanced

PC Users: Get the Plug in for Write-N-Cite
- Login to RefWorks.
- Near the top center of the screen, select Write-N-Cite.
- Read the download instructions.
- Select Click here to download the plug-in.
The plug-in is not necessary, but very useful. The plug-in can only be installed on personal computers (not Macintoshes). It cannot be installed on public computers or computers in campus computing facilities.
- Select Save if another window appears. Save the file to your desktop.
- Log out and close RefWorks.
- Find the Write-N-Cite plug-in (wncinstall.exe) and double-click on it.
Follow the instructions and the Write-N-Cite wizard will install the program.
- When asked to restart your computer, select, OK.
- After the computer restarts, open Microsoft Word and you will see the red Write-N-Cite button on the tools bar.
