    For Mac Users: Creating a Bibliography

    Although Mac users aren't able to use the Write-N-Cite software to generate a bibliography within a manuscript, they do have other options: either adding references manually to a manuscript, using the Bibliography button within RefWorks, or using One Line/Cite View.

    Adding References Manually to a Manuscript

    1. Go to the Bibliography page in RefWorks.
    2. Select the output format, citation list. Note the number next to citations--use this reference number.
    3. At the point in the Word document where you need to insert a reference, type in curly bracket curly bracket the reference number curly bracket curly bracket, like this {{the reference number}}.
